Thursday Morning RamblingsThe writer sits and thinks at the chessboard table in the corner of the coffee shop. He types on his laptop computer without thinking about what he is writing, staring out the window while the world stares back at him. He is determined to win this staring contest, though no one ever has yet. They live, they die, and the world keeps staring. He knows someone will have to win someday, and it might as well be him. Cars drive by, the sun comes up, stores open, commuters hurry on with their busy lives, paying no attention to him, not noticing that he's staring down the world. A car stops, the driver looks in at the writer, as if there'sThursday Morning Ramblings

From You to MeI love you But I can't tell you. How could I? I've been silent to long. I've cut too many people out. I love you. Whenever we're apart, A piece of me is gone. Part of my very soul, missing. But how can you know? I love you And I don't want to cause you pain. You've said that all you've loved, you've lost. I don't want to be lost. I'm afraid of your being lost. I love you But I can't let you in. I don't want to be lost. I love you But I can't say it So, I say instead, I miss you. From You to Me
